Germination Instructions:

Seed requires cold stratification for germination Usually about 8 weeks. Or Plant outside with two months of winter left.

Place seeds in moist potting soil make sure the container can drain well. Place outside in an area where they will receive sunlight in the spring and summer. Do not allow to dry out and protect from wind. If needed cover with plastic but the best is to cover with snow.

Seedlings will sprout in the spring when the snow melts and can be planted in the ground when they are large enough.

Grows best in slightly acidic well draining soil with good sun exposure. Plant at least 30cm apart. To promote good root growth they much be weeded regularly.
